Final Wishes

Your will is the single most important estate planning document for lots of reasons. The attorney drafting your will prepares documents such as a living will, health care proxy, and power of attorney – all very important. But there is also an extremely important part of your estate planning that doesn’t come from your attorney, and has absolutely no legal standing whatsoever. Your Letter of Final Wishes (LFW) is a straight forward communication between you (the author of the document) and your descendants that will give them a great deal of useful information that doesn’t belong in your will.
